How to play

• Pick an edition. Columnist (easy) runs straight across and down. Publisher (medium) adds diagonals. Editor (hard) hides words in every direction, backwards included.
• Find the words. Drag across the letters in a straight line, or tap the first letter and then the last. Spaces and hyphens are ignored, so Pre-Rolls hides as PREROLLS.
• Stuck? Ask the Copy Desk. That is the hint button. It circles the first letter of a word you have not found yet. Unlimited and unpenalised — hints are only counted.
• A new edition every day. Your clock and your progress are saved, so you can put the paper down and pick it up later.
